Federal law allows Moms for Safe Neighborhoods to accept unlimited contributions from individuals and business entities (corporations, LLCs, etc), provided that the donor confirms the following statements. By making a donation you affirm the following statements are true:
- If the contribution is from an individual: I am a US citizen or a foreign national with permanent resident status in the US
- If the contribution is from a business entity (LLC, corporation, etc.): The entity is chartered in the United states.
- The contribution is not from a national bank or a federal contractor.
- The source of the contribution is from the funds of the donor identified in the form
Contributions to Moms for Safe Neighborhoods are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Federal law requires Moms for Safe Neighborhoods to use its best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, employer and occupation of all individual donors whose contributions aggregate over $200 in a calendar year.
